Baby Miam app · last updated: October 12, 2026 · Version française

Baby Miam helps pregnant women find out whether a dish is suitable during pregnancy, from a photo. We collect as little data as possible: your profile and history stay on your phone, and only the photo you choose to analyze is sent, with your consent.

Who is responsible for your data

Baby Miam is published by Emile ESPILONDO, sole trader operating as Orion Web Design (SIRET 453 247 009 00047), 124 Grand'Rue, 68390 Sausheim, France.

Artificial intelligence analysis

The photo is analyzed by Claude, an AI provided by Anthropic PBC (San Francisco, United States). It first goes through our server, which forwards it without storing it. Only the photo is sent: not your profile, your history or your identity.

Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use data sent by its business customers to train its models, and keeps it only for a limited time, for safety purposes. For more details, see Anthropic's privacy policy.

This transfer outside the European Union is covered by Anthropic's contractual data protection commitments, based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis

Information revealing pregnancy, breastfeeding, toxoplasmosis status, allergies or weight is health data. Its local processing is based on your explicit consent. Sending photos to Anthropic uses a separate consent, given before the first analysis. You can withdraw either in “My profile”; withdrawing health-data consent erases the profile, history, photos, journal and weigh-ins from the device.

Children

Baby Miam is for people aged 18 or over. The app asks users to confirm this before processing health data. Minors must not use the service.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (and, depending on where you live, laws such as the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object, and to withdraw your consent. Because your profile and history are stored only on your phone, you can change or delete them yourself in the app, or by deleting it. For any question, write to emileespi@orionwebdesign.fr.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or your local authority.

Hosting and security

Our server is hosted by Hostinger. All communications are encrypted (HTTPS). The server rate-limits each installation and verifies subscriptions. On iPhone, the profile, history, photos and weigh-ins use complete file protection and are available only after the device has been unlocked.

Important information

Baby Miam gives information based on official food guidance for pregnancy (for example the FDA, CDC and ACOG in the United States, the NHS in the United Kingdom, Santé publique France and ANSES in France). It does not replace advice from a midwife, doctor or pharmacist.
